Sherbet 25% Aluminum Chloride Hemostatic Solution
Hemostatic solution based on 25% aluminum chloride to stop bleeding during and after periodontal interventions. Gum retraction and hemostasis, incl. for aesthetic restoration of teeth with composite materials
Peculiarities:
• Pronounced hemostatic effect.
• Can be used in combination with non-impregnated retraction cords.
• Does not cause staining of tissues and dental materials in contact with it.
Comes in a plastic jar 30 ml
Inactive ingredients:
Benzyl Alcohol, Distilled Water, Potassium Chloride, Propylene Glycol.
Uses:
• Sherbet BH is a topical astringent Solution of Aluminum Chloride. Gingival retraction can be achieved using a plain gingival retraction cord moistened with Sherbet BH.
• Stops gingival bleeding fast. If you should inadvertently damage gingival margin during tooth preparation or while placing a strip, a band or a cervical matrix, moist this area with Sherbet BH, which will quickly stop the bleeding.
• Sherbet BH does not contain epinephrine. Use of vasoconstrictors for retraction and bleeding gums are potentially dangerous, and should be avoided.
• A plain gingival retraction cord can be dipped into Sherbet BH solution and then place in the gingival sulcus to provide hemostatic effect.
Warnings:
• Discontinue use if irritation appears.
• For topical application only.
• Avoid eye contact.
• Do not use in patients with a known history of hyper sensitivity to aluminum chloride.
• For professional use only.
• Federal law restricts this product to sale or use on the order of a dentist.
Directions
• Soak a cotton-tipped applicator with Sherbet BH.
• Apply to the bleeding area with pressure. If small dark clots appear, they should be washed off with water. This will not have any effect on the hemostatic effect.
• Remove the impregnated cord from sulcus.
• Flush with water and dry with air. If hemostasis is not achieved, repeat application.
• Rinse with water and air dry until bleeding is no longer present.
